Coatings:

Conventional End Mills are offered with different types of coatings, depending on the type of material to be machined. The GOLD coating in Red color is most suitable for machining hard or heat-resistant steels or dry milling. With a hardness of 3800HV and heat resistance up to 1100°C, it provides high wear resistance while improving tool life. For machining softer steels or where cutting speeds are not high, the HYPER coating in Black color performs better due to its higher sliding characteristics. It has a hardness of 3600HV and has a heat resistance of up to 1050°C.
