Precision Machining with Advanced Technology
The rods are Sintered with the most advanced technologies on the market. Thanks to these high-pressure (100 bar) sintering HIP processes, we are able to offer a high-quality, consistent product ideal for any processing.
The Engriving Tools can be supplied pre-formed (pre-formed but without the sharpening) and sharpened to a 45°-60°-90° point or in the size the customer desires. With their studied geometry and the high-quality materials used, these tools ensure reliable, high-level results in every application.
Main features:
Ground and Ungrounded Rods With and Without Coolant Holes:
Manufactured using Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) technology, they can be supplied in fixed sizes or in bars up to 415mm. Solid Crabide Rods can be supplied with different hardnesses, flexural strength and breaking strength. The higher the percentage of Cobalt in the material the lower the hardness and vice versa. Sold Carbides can be of two qualities: Micrograin and Ultrafine grades. Ultrafines are very hard and wear-resistant and are generally used for high-speed machining of hard materials or where high abrasion resistance is required. Micrograin Quality is generally used for more traditional machining of Aluminum, Stainless Steels, Titanium and Nickel-based alloys.
